Snakes & Ladders
Classic 10x10 board race. Climb ladders, avoid snakes, and reach square 100 first!
How to play
Players take turns rolling a six-sided die to advance across the 100-square board.
Landing on the bottom of a ladder climbs you immediately to its top.
Landing on the head of a snake slides you back down to its tail.
Rolling a six grants an extra roll, but rolling three consecutive sixes forfeits your move.
First player to reach square 100 wins the game.
About Snakes & Ladders
Snakes & Ladders is the classic dice race from India, played here for two to four players on a 100-square board. You roll one die and move that many squares; land on the foot of a ladder and you climb, land on a snake's head and you slide back down. A six gives you another roll, and by default you need the exact number to reach square 100. Choose the classic board or a wild one with more snakes.

Good to know
- There is no strategy to master: every roll is a die throw, so the whole game is suspense and swings of fortune.
- With exact finish on, the last few squares can take a while, so a lead is never completely safe. Switch it off for a faster game.
- It is an easy first game for young children and a relaxed one for a mixed group, since nobody needs to know any rules beforehand.
